Life starts off as an unknown.
We're at the mercy of our caretakers. No intelligence in our brain, so we're left vulnerable to our environment. Whether good or bad, healthy or unhealthy, we learn from our environment. We absorb it all through our five senses: What we see, hear, smell, taste and touch. Then that collected information is interpreted by our brain. At this point, nothing is good or bad but thinking makes it so (William Shakespeare). This is a critical point for what happens next. Will your brain interpret your life experiences from a victimized mindset or a creator mindset? Left up to the subconscious mind, the answer is usually a victimized mindset. But if we remember to only be informed by our emotions while making decisions with our conscious, logical, rational, reasoning mind, it's guaranteed that what is interpreted from a victimized mindset by your subconscious mind can be converted by your conscious mind into something more useful, even catapulting you into a better future. How? Through deliberate & intentional creation. See, you were born to be a creator because you are a creator. On the low end, you have the power to create but don’t know it. On the higher end, you're more aligned with the identity as a creator who knows you can create your own interpretation of your life experiences. Is the glass of your life half full or half empty? Well it depends on what you want to experience. Our subconscious likes to create fear driven thoughts but when it’s properly aligned with useful, expanded perspectives, your conscious mind can create anything you want based on your belief systems. Your belief systems are initially created in your brain during childhood from your environment (parents, teachers, extended family, peers, social media, etc) but with expanded consciousness, we know we can re-create our belief systems into something that enhances our lives. With this mindset, you can create a new meaning for an old or negative past experience. The only question is: What kind of life would you like to create for yourself? Once you know that, you’ll want to “Only think the thoughts and say the words of what you want coming to fruition”. Live by that principle and you can turn any negative into a positive, any tough time into a good time, any hardship into an opportunity. It all stems from your attitude and belief systems. It's you against you: Your subconscious mind versus your conscious mind. Who will win? Only you can decide. Kindly, Dr. Cruz
